Runs Plantation $$ to $$$$|
John Henline -
Aiken, South Carolina, is a place of charm, sophistication and great natural beauty. Its an historic,
magnolia-scented small town with an equestrian legacy dating back almost two hundred years.
This is horse country. And theres a new Horse Community at the heart of it that
combines a love of all things equine with lovely homes and small farms in a sweeping, pastoral setting - Three Runs
At the heart of Three Runs is the equestrian complex with amenities that are among the
finest in the area. They include a stadium jumping arena, a regulation dressage arena and a grass arena for flat
work training. The crowning touch is a beautifully appointed clubhouse with covered veranda that overlooks the
riding arenas. There is an outdoor pavilion for cookouts. The pool and cabana are under construction and situated
adjacent to the pavilion.
A portion of the trail system includes cross country jumps and gallop areas for training. There are trails for
carriage driving and generous easements between all properties will enable residents to enjoy riding without ever
encroaching on their neighbors.
The setting is 2400 acres of land that seems to stretch on forever, over broad
savannahs and forest dense with age-old trees. Two significant creeks run through it, along with o over thirty
miles of trails with picnic areas. Nestled throughout the landscape are estate-size lots of an acre or more and
small farms from 4 to 20 acres and even larger. This is going to be a custom-built Horse Community, featuring
everything from dream homes to cozy hunt boxes with dream barns.
